I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Schweizerhof Bern. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Bern, making it easy to explore the city’s beautiful sights, shops, and restaurants. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My room was very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Schweizerhof Bern for anyone visiting the city. It offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent service.

I treated myself to this Hotel as it was the last day of a long holiday. It exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and service. It was right over the road from the station and within walking distance of all the the attractions I wanted to see. Close to the water, and other items of interest with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. I had a late flight out of Europe and I was able to stay much later at the Hotel (for a cost) before heading to Zurich. this was a game-changer for me being able to be refreshed and ready for a 24 hour flight home. The breakfast was amazing. I really loved staying here.

We liked everything about this hotel, from the courteous, helpful staff to the rooms themselves. Everything was just perfect. Ms. Cathrein at the front desk was outstanding and so very helpful with giving us directions and any other advice we needed.

the overall hospitality is superb. Our room was spacious, with desk, a couch and a well set bathroom. Breakfast was partly served, (eggs, pancakes) but most part in buffetstyle. All in a brasserie setting. Lounge area gave enough privacy and cosy set up and interior Drink at roof top bar was lovely with beautiful views. The spa treatment was lovely, and very well taken care of. Location is perfect in the middle of the centre, opposite main trainstation.

This is a five star hotel and it deserves this rating fully. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, the staff are knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. The spa area is large enough for a city hotel and has long working hours. The room is comfortable.

Location of the hotel is excellent and it is a beautiful and immaculate with friendly reception and bell staff. Our room was very well appointed and immaculate with comfortable bed and bedding. Dinner at Jack's Brasserie was outstanding both in terms of food and service as well as ambience. Highly recommend. Breakfast is fine, nothing exceptional but very good coffee, yogurt, fruit, eggs cooked to order. Spa is also outstanding.

I spent 2 nights alone as a treat to myself. This is the best place to spend time alone (or not ), you can't get bored as you can spend time at the spa or the gym, or sit at the balcony and watch passers by. The staff is nice and discreet. They'll answer any questions and accommodate your needs. Very enjoyable spa and very well equipped gym. The bedding is very comfortable. The room is extremely clean and cozy. The shower is amazing.

We travelled by train, location is perfect opposite the station Breakfast in the beautiful restaurant with fresh fruit and warm meals cooked to order Gorgeous bathroom with bath, walk in shower - wish I could have taken it home! Concierge very friendly and helpful

I stayed 4nights, It was fantastic and the best location in Bern every place can be reached by walking. Many thanks to the professional staff in the Reception Mr Luca Jancobi who made us so happy by taking care of our car and luggage and even the easy Uber food such as the gent makes you come again and again to the Hotel.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right across the street from the train station so it is easy to go anywhere you want. I arrived from the USA into Zurich and was able to take the train to Bern without any problems. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Schweitzerhof Bern Hotel and Spa. I also got a deep tissue massage in the spa that was excellent!
